Here are the general steps to configure a Linksys router:

Connect  Router

Connect the router to your modem and computer. Use an Ethernet cable to connect the modem to the WAN port of the router, and another Ethernet cable to connect your computer to any of the LAN ports.

Open Browser

Open your web browser and enter the default IP address of your router in the address bar. The default IP address for most Linksys routers is 192.168.1.1, but it may be different for your router model. Check the user manual or visit the Linksys website to find the default IP address.

Enter Default Username  Password

Enter the default username and password to log in to the router's admin page. The default username is usually "admin" and the default password is usually blank or "password". If you've changed the login credentials before, use the updated login details.

Start Configuration

Once you've logged in, you can start configuring your router. You can change the router's network name (SSID) and password, set up port forwarding, configure parental controls, and more.

Save" or "Apply

After making changes to the router's settings, click "Save" or "Apply" to save the changes.

Test Connection

Test the internet connection to ensure that the router is working properly. Disconnect the Ethernet cable from your computer and connect to the Wi-Fi network of the router. Open a web browser and browse a few websites to make sure the internet connection is working.

Note: The above steps are general guidelines and may vary slightly depending on your router model and firmware version. Always refer to the user manual or contact Linksys support for specific instructions.
