MikroTik Hotspot Users, Profiles and IP Bindings Backup


Script 

To back up MikroTik Hotspot user and profile configurations, you can follow these steps

  • Log in to your MikroTik router using a web browser or SSH client.
  • Go to the "IP" menu and select "Hotspot" to access the Hotspot configuration section.
  • Click on the "User Profiles" tab to view the list of Hotspot user profiles.
  • Select and copy the configurations of each user profile, including the profile name, rate limits, login/logout page URLs, and other settings. You can do this by clicking on the profile name and then copying the contents from the "HTML" or "Rate Limit" tabs.
  • Paste the copied configurations into a text file or a document of your choice. Repeat this process for all the user profiles you want to back up.

Next, you can back up the Hotspot user configurations by following these steps

  • In the MikroTik web interface, go to the "IP" menu and select "Hotspot" to access the Hotspot configuration section.
  • Click on the "Users" tab to view the list of Hotspot users.
  • Select and copy the configurations of each user, including their username, password, profile, and any additional settings. You can do this by clicking on the user entry and then copying the contents from the respective fields.
  • Paste the copied configurations into the same text file or document where you saved the user profiles.

By following these steps, you will have backups of both Hotspot user        configurations and Hotspot user profile configurations from your MikroTik router. Remember to regularly create backups to ensure you have the latest configurations stored in case of any unforeseen events or system failures.
